After so many months of slacking off, I have finally squeezed a little time for my hobby. I love making DIY accessories just so you know. I've been ranting about it for so long, on how busy I was with my day job blah blah blah that's why I can't buy supplies . So now, I just can't hide my excitement haha because I bought them already and I'm just so enthusiastic  about the projects that I'm going to make.

Forgive me for the crappy photos because I just used my phone. So what do you think guys? haha pwede na ba?  Just send me a message if you want to buy my accessories. Xo

Pasig Market: A Tour

Wednesday, July 11, 2012 0 Comments
I'm always fascinated going to public markets because I see so many variety of goods. My recent tour to Pasig palengke was fun because I brought my camera for the first time to document my palengke day. But warning guys, going there is no walk in the park. You have to get ready to deal with the heat, the noise and yes, pick-pocketers.

The market is subdivided into 3 floors. The ground floor for the wet market selling fishes, meats, vegetables and produce. The second and third floor houses the "Tiangge" where you can find  RTW's at bargain prices fresh from the mananahi. They also have accessories, shoes, curtains, pillows and many more. It's like Divisoria because prices are so affordable.

If you want to start a clothing and accessory business with a small capital, Pasig Market is the place to go. Schedule is every Wednesday and Friday 8pm onwards.

Lunch at Bahay Kawayan

Saturday, July 07, 2012 8 Comments
Taytay has been a part of my life since 2010. I go there twice a week because Taytay is the place where I get supplies for my RTW business. I'm quite familiar with the place now so I decided to explore.

I always pass thru this restaurant called Bahay Kawayan. The parking was always full and the place was  always packed with long queue. I went there Saturday noon and there were lots of diners. So if you want to go, I advise you to call and make reservations.

At bilang bagong sweldo ako, naglakas loob akong pumasok.

The Menu
waiting for my food
crap! my camera went dead just before my order arrived so I had to use my Glam Phone
I ordered for mustasa with salted eggs, but ensaladang mangga was served. No problem
dipping  for the ensalada. yummy!
sinigang na kandule
pritong hito
bagoong alamang with kalamansi and sili
Okay, don't judge me haha. This is my only meal for the day

My bill totaled P490. Yes, a bit pricey for a kuripot like me but then price is always relative. The food was delicious and I felt that the prices were justified.

The P500M Birkin Scam

Monday, July 02, 2012 19 Comments
If you're on twitter, you may have heard about yesterday's hot topic: The P500M Birkin Scam. So what is this topic doing in my blog? Well, this is about being fashionable you know, but in a bad bad way! Social climbing is social climbing, period. If there's one principle in life that I live by, that is to "LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS". I don't borrow money to spend in luxury. I'm contented admiring material and expensive things from a distance. I could not even afford a Secosana bag. Chos!

So here's the story from the Philippine Daily Inquirer:

The Ultimate Barbecued Chicken

Sunday, July 01, 2012 6 Comments
It' the first day of July. Half of the year 2012 passed already and not even half of my goals for this year was achieved. I'm totally frustrated. My plans were set aside because I have to set priorities for my family, not that I'm complaining but yeah, I really I wish I could fulfill even just half of my goals this year.

Okay, enough of my whining. Let's start this month with a yummy recipe (pampa GV) that I got from Cooking Channel Tv. This recipe is quite different from the usual chicken barbecue that's why it caught my attention. Picture pa lang, yummy na.
